Victor Logan

Associate Minister

Victor T. Logan was born June 1957 in Brooklyn, NY. He is one of 10 children. He is the father of four children: Lamar, Clay, Tivoli and India. He is also the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren and one great grandson.


He enlisted in U.S. Army in July 1976 and served for 20 years. His duty stations included Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, GA where he met his future and current wife of 39 years, Linda Thomas. He was also stationed at Ansbach, Germany, during which time he also served in the Gulf War, Desert Storm and Desert Shield. His final assignment was at Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland. During his service, we received awards and medals to include six Good Conduct Medals, two Army Accommodation Medals, the Matorius Service Medal, the Combat Services Medal for Desert Storm, and several other awards.


After retiring from military service in 1996, he and his family then returned to Savannah and he began employment at Union Camp (International Paper). Personnel cuts led him to a career in truck driving for four years before returning to International Paper.


He is a previous member of Tremont Temple where he accepted Christ and was baptized in June 1997. In 2007 he received and obeyed the call to preach the gospel and delivered his first sermon in July 2007. He was active in teaching Sunday School, bible study, as well as the prison ministry at Coastal State Prison.


In 2011, Min. Logan was called to move his membership to Fairlawn Baptist Church, where he currently serves as Associate Minister. He is active in bible study and assisting the pastor wherever is needed.


In his spare time, Min. Logan enjoys reading, chess, jigsaw puzzles, fishing and swimming.
